==Plot summary==
A village pottery-maker has mysteriously vanished without a trace. And now, across the floors of his house, bare foot prints have appeared that dance with ghostly green flames! Is it somebody's ghastly trick or a genuine haunting? Jupiter Jones, the leader of the Three Investigators, believes there is a logical explanation. And he is sure the Potter is hiding out somewhere. But of so why is he hiding, and where, and from whom? Now, the Three have a clue, but they have got to act fast. If the potter is still around, he may be in deadly danger!
